  • A Short History of Standardized Tests - JSTOR Daily

Belle Vernon Area School District requires all students to participate in the Keystone Exams to fulfill their graduation
pathway and to meet Act 158 state requirements. These exams were designed to assess content knowledge in the areas of Algebra 1, Literature, and Biology.

The school will operate on asynchronous flexible instructional days May 13 and 14 for testing.

This year the tests will be administered with the traditional paper and pencil method. No iPads are needed. The dates for the Keystone Exams will be May 13 and 14.

School District transportation will be provided for ALL testing days and occur at the regular time in the morning, and a 1:40PM dismissal time. All testing rooms and proctors will be posted in the High School lobby by May 6, 2024. The Keystone Exam daily schedule will allow for a normal school breakfast, and a designated time for lunch as well as up to
a half-hour additional break before the second Module of testing.

Any questions, please contact your school counselor.
